By accessing and using Puzzlii (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.

2. Service Description

Puzzlii is a digital platform that enables users to create and participate in treasure hunts, puzzle challenges, and team-building events. The Service provides tools for:

  • Creating and managing puzzle hunts
  • Forming and managing teams
  • Tracking progress and leaderboards
  • Real-time collaboration features
  • Analytics and reporting tools

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
  • All activities that occur under their account or password
  • Ensuring that all content created or shared complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of others
  • Not using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Not attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

4. Payment Terms

Puzzlii operates on a per-hunt pricing model:

  • Free Tier: Limited features available at no cost
  • Paid Tiers: Payment is required when creating or upgrading a hunt to a paid tier
  • No Recurring Fees: There are no monthly subscriptions or recurring charges
  • Upgrades: You can upgrade a hunt to a higher tier at any time, paying only the difference in price
  • Player Access: Players never pay to join hunts; only hunt creators pay when creating or upgrading hunts
  • Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All major credit cards are accepted.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.

5. Intellectual Property

Platform Ownership: The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Puzzlii and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content: You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Puzzlii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Prohibited Content: You may not upload, post, or transmit any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUZZLII SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

IN NO EVENT SHALL PUZZLII'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PUZZLII IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACTION GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

7. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Puzzlii operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association, except where prohibited by law.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any disputes will be resolved individually and that you will not participate in any class action lawsuit against Puzzlii.
